An on-site visit has several advantages, most notably on-site support and training provides an opportunity to look all your users in the eye and confirm that they are on board for system implementation and will accept the policy changes associated with that event. On-site training makes a splash and creates momentum and enthusiasm - essential for change management. An on-site visit may cost more, but gets more done in a shorter period of time. If your firm wants to make significant changes in how things get done, an on-site event is the best approach.
